About

Sandra Sorokin CPDT-KA

Sandra grew up as an only child with dogs, cats, and birds as her pseudo-siblings. This gave her lots of experience communicating with animals at an early age. As an adult, Sandra first worked in property management and then outside sales while simultaneously volunteering at a non-profit therapeutic horseback riding ranch on the weekends. Volunteering at the ranch was so fulfilling and enriching that it became clear to Sandra that, in order to live the life that she loved, she needed to work with animals full-time. So she traded in her pumps for some tennis shoes and became a dog walker! After walking hundreds of dogs around San Diego, Sandra saw a desperate need for training and wanted to help the dogs AND their humans live their lives to the fullest. This lead her into the world of dog training. She had already studied Psychology at SDSU which gave her a special insight and great foundation knowledge into dog behavior. After a year of apprenticing at a local dog training school, she successfully completed the pre-requisites and testing to become certified with the Council of Professional Dog Trainers. Now she looks forward to helping you and your pup!
